We are building a community of partners and investors who are passionate about enabling empowered and thriving communities in the rural areas of Ethiopia. You can support us in the following ways:
Legacy Gifting
Including Project Mercy in your estate planning ensures our holistic approach in rural Ethiopia can continue for generations to come, allowing those we serve to meet their full potential and thrive. Contact us to learn more about how to include us in your estate plans.
Fundraising for Project Mercy is another way to support the work we do while inspiring your community to support rural development in Ethiopia. Past events have included an annual music fundraiser for the Bay Area Medical Mission team, which visits Project Mercy yearly to provide healthcare to the most vulnerable, and we would welcome your ideas for future events.
With access to our impact stories, resources and guest speakers, your community group or congregation will have an opportunity to learn about our work in Ethiopia and the practical ways to get involved and support.
Individual donations provide the backbone of our organization. Project Mercy has been able to grow through the generosity of individual and community donors.
Non-designated funding supports our set of complementary and interrelated programs, which allows us to ensure proper support for the areas of greatest need while most effectively meeting the needs of the communities we serve.
Gifts that align with your personal interests help support our individual programs with their growth and long-term impact. Donations given here can also be applied to the Jackson Kemper Foundation matching grant, which ensures double the impact for your gifts in Ethiopia.
Volunteering is a deeply transformational way to invest in Project Mercy, providing our community with invaluable expertise, time and care. We wouldn’t be where we are today without those that have given of their time and talent. Over the years, we have welcomed all kinds of volunteers with varying expertise, including doctors and surgeons, engineers, agricultural specialists and students.
